Deploying 1Retail in your business

1Retail was designed to be completely installed and maintained remotely. This is a far cry from most legacy Point of Sale installations. There are essentially three steps to completing this installation. We will quickly overview the steps involved here.

STEP 1 – (A)

INSTALLING 1RETAIL INTO ACUMATICA

1Retail has a customization project that you install directly into Acumatica to allow you setup and maintain 1Retail directly from the Acumatica desktop. Once installed, the setup is very straightforward as it leverages many aspects  of Acumatica.

1Retail creates its own tables in Acumatica to receive data from as many stores as you require without putting any significant load on your ERP database. This also allows us to conform to many different workflows that can be setup and controlled by Acumatica’s Automation projects.

STEP 2 – (B)

SETUP 1Retail STORE HUBS AT YOUR RETAIL STORES

1 Hub per store is all that is needed. In most cases its as simple as installing the 1Retail HUB client at the site, setting up any shared printers. see  more ...

STEP 3 – (C)

INSTALL THE 1RETAIL CLIENT ON ANY COMPUTERS THAT WILL ACT AS A POS TILL

Install the 1Retail POS workstation client form the Windows, Android or Apple store and then connect it to the hub and Acumatica. Once done, 1Retail will automatically setup the store and the first client.
